BXTR
The original idea for the BXTR was to have a soft-railed, very pulled in single-fin log for steeper surf. Something very close to the original Jackie Baxter Model from which the BXTR takes its name. However, I've been observing a developing interest in mini-gliders at some of my local breaks and I think the Baxter template and proportions are perfectly suitable to a type of pintail that can be ridden in a wider variety of surf by a broader range of surfer. Perhaps even a design that can provide people with an easier entry into riding logs. Therefore, I've updated the concept of the BXTR to have a down rail, flat to vee bottom contours and a more contemporary, user-friendly rocker.
