Cove Fish

I'm enamored by the mega-fish scene, but it's not exactly "mine" and I want to go down a road that is a little more Jones in nature before I explore the genre further. My idea was to blend a comfortable quad fish (something we're all familiar with) with the hybrids my dad was shaping throughout the 90s and first decade of the 2000s. Those hybrids were straight-forward, gently curved middle length boards creating a step between longboards and thrusters. The Jones Shapes Covefish takes the same gentle Bruce Jones Hybrid curve and combines it with a double bump swallow with a quad setup. The design is intended for wave sizes from waist to head-high. Stock bottom contours feature vee entry to a spiral vee out the tail. Panel vee option also available.
